Very nice map. I love the folded paper appearance :D
All the symbols are easy and intuitive to read. Maaaybe could use a little bit of variation on the forest trees, but on the other hand, old videogames did use tilemaps like that where every tree is the same.

Very creative and asthetic way to draw the compass rose...
North is to the right???? (Not complaining though)

What about adding a little bit of texture to the water? Like some sort of waves or something?

Yeah the snowflake points north. Snow melts further south, so that direction has a water droplet.

I'm really glad it's easy to read, I wanted it to be somewhat simplistic for that reason. Waves would've been a great idea that I just didn't think of, but I also think it's good empty space there.

Beautiful and inspiring. I like the way you draw the stars in this "+" shape :3
The color usage is amazing and the way everything is dark but the water and sky looks really beautiful ^.^

The color palette adds a dark feeling which reminds me of some scenarios from Hyper Light Drifter.
I love the detailed background, but I felt like it didn't contrast that well with the monochrome, low detail moon. Still, I like this very much, well done.
